Jean Brady is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who began working in the social services field in 1991. She obtained her Masters in Social Work from Widener University in 1993. Jean is a part-time clinician with Allied Behavioral Health specializing in grief and loss therapy. She has experience working with individuals and families coping with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and medical diagnoses.
Jean has experience with children, adolescents, and adults in hospice, outpatient counseling, and coping with end stage renal disease in the dialysis setting. Jean has led groups for parents grieving the death of a child, bereaved children and teens, advocated for federal funding for childhood cancer research, and utilized cognitive behavioral therapy in tele-counseling. Jean believes in the therapeutic relationship as a tool to guide clients toward self-awareness and change, and utilizes a strengths-based perspective.
