Her primary area of specialization is grief and bereavement, focusing on concurrent issues of anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress. She emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship between the client and therapist to create an atmosphere of safety and trust. In therapy, clients can then identify and express previously unacknowledged emotions, consider challenges to those habitual patterns of thinking that may be contributing to their distress, and set and implement behavioral goals to increase their psychological self-care.
